Hello Draper Residents, We had outstanding attendance at the Supreme Court hearing! The court room was packed. Thank you for your successful efforts to be there and get the word out to our neighbors. We are also grateful for the articles and news broadcasts about the plight of residents to get the TRAX route located along the I-15 commercial and traffic corridor instead of low density neighborhoods. It was interesting to watch the hearing. The Supreme Court Justices had notable questions for all three attorneys (CRT, UTA and Draper attorneys) involved. At this point, it is a wait and watch period until we get the ruling. We will continue to keep you up-to-date on the Environmental Impact Study (EIS) currently being conducted by the FTA and UTA. (There will be other public hearings). Read about the EIS on our website. One important point that came out at the trial is that agreement on the route is important in order to get FTA approval and funding for the project. It is therefore extremely important to write the FTA and let them know the following:
Our FTA contact is : Finally, our lawyer has done an excellent job for us, and has allowed us to make periodic payments for his fee, but we now need your donations to help pay the remainder of that fee. You can donate using Paypal on this site or mail your check to: CRT Also, please stay tuned for updates on an upcoming barbeque to help raise money for our efforts! Thank you again for your
