HELP CRT WITH A DONATION
Recently, Draper residents collected enough signatures to hold a referendum (right to vote) on the TRAX route issue. Draper City , however, denied the referendum. On August 17, 2007 Citizens for Responsible Transportation (CRT) filed an appeal with the Utah Supreme Court. CRT believes they can win the court battle, but they do not have unlimited resources. They need your support to raise money to win the fight and give Draper residents a voice. You can donate using the paypal link below or send a check by mail to the address at the bottom of this page. "The Legislative power of the State shall be vested in ... a Senate and House of Representatives ( legislative bodies ) .. and the people of the State of Utah ." (Constitution of Utah , Article 5.) " Petitions, initiatives, and referendums are clearly an integral part of state and local governments. The constitution plainly contradicts any politician who believes legislative power should remain with elected officials. “Please help us with your donations and encourage your neighbors to do so too! Let's make sure we protect and preserve the quality of life we enjoy in Draper.” You may conveniently use PayPal here: or pay by check using the information below. |
