Posted: 8:56 AM- Midvale police are looking for two teenagers they said
robbed a man at the Center Street TRAX station this morning.

In what was the second TRAX station armed robbery in as many days,
police said two men approached a commuter on the station's platform, near
180 West and 7720 South, about 6:40 a.m. and asked to exchange coins for
dollar bills.
The man took out a $5 bill, and one of the men took it and punched the
victim in the face, police said. The other man then lifted his shirt to
display a chrome revolver, and the two robbers got on a train heading south,
police said.
"They committed a second-degree felony for a $5 bill," said Sgt. John
Salazar, a police spokesman.
Salazar said the victim believed he recognized one of the alleged
robbers as a former classmate.
